Kvelja performs messy and slimy heavy metal with a dash of hardcore, black and doom metal. The band has persevered for several years but only managed to release one shitty album.
The sound is characterized by a snail-pitched guitar strum, sewer-driven bass, and rhythmic drums in the spirit of Schubert.
In addition to this, you can hear some noise from the string players who think they know how to scream, but are really just trying to clear yesterday's phlegm from their throats.
